The Idea Screener is a variant of the Monadic Test designed specifically for receiving feedback on your product ideas from consumers. Building on the ability of the Monadic Test to conduct focused testing of stimuli, Conjointly's Idea Screener adds a swipe-to-answer respondent interface that allows for:
- Quickly determine purchase intent for a large number of product ideas
- Testing consumer attitude towards product ideas
- Receiving feedback on what consumers like, dislike, or find confusing about your product concepts
- Pre-development screening of product ideas to help focus your resources
Main outputs of the Idea Screener
Summary of response table:
How does each product idea perform relative to the other idea?
The main output for the Idea Screener, this table displays the summary statistic for each question. It allows for an at-a-glance comparison between product ideas to help you determine the top performing idea
What is the overall performance of each product idea?
Idea passports show an overview of how each product idea performed. It includes the summary metrics for every question and gathers crucial open-ended positive and negative feedback.
Idea correlations table:
Which product ideas appeal to the same respondents?
Correlations measure the similarity between your product ideas, with a more positive correlation between two ideas indicating stronger similarity and a more negative correlation indicating more dissimilarity. Correlations can show you which ideas appeal to the same subset of respondents.
Detailed consumer feedback:
What did consumers like or dislike about the product idea?
Highlight aspects of your product ideas that your consumers like, dislike, or find confusing. This output will help you refine your product ideas with detailed feedback directly from the respondents
How to set up an Idea Screener on Conjointly
Input your product ideas into the study. For each concept you can specify the name, description, and upload an image.
Choose how you want to source your respondents. Depending on your targeting requirements, Conjointly offers three methods for obtaining respondents:
- Bring your own respondents: Use a list of your customers or leads, source respondents from elsewhere, or integrate with another survey.
- Target specific panel respondents: Purchase responses from our panel network if you want to target specific respondents by location, demographics, behavioural, and profiling questions.
- Use a pre-defined panel: You can target specific respondents, such as your companies own pre-defined audience
Save your experiment to add or modify the questions in the study. To add a question, click on the “Add question” button, select the type of question you wish to add, and then drag and drop the question into the Idea Screener block.
Preview the survey as a participant to test your setup and prepare to launch.
