This policy (known as “AUP”, “Acceptable Use Policy”, or “Conjointly Policy on Acceptable Use and Content Moderation”) governs the use of Conjointly’s products, services, and website (collectively, “Services”) by our users (“Users” or “you”). By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Conjointly reserves the right to modify or amend this AUP at any time without prior notice.
Prohibited Activities
You are responsible for your use of the Services and any content you provide. The following activities are expressly prohibited:
Illegal Activities: Using the Services for any activity that violates local, state, national, or international laws, regulations, or other government requirements.
Harassment: Harassing, threatening, or abusing other Users, or engaging in any activity that may be considered harmful or offensive to others.
Spamming: Sending unsolicited messages, promotions, or advertisements, or engaging in any other form of spamming.
Copyright Infringement: Uploading, sharing, or distributing content that violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
Hacking: Gaining unauthorized access to or disrupting the functionality of the Services, or any other systems, networks, or devices.
Malware: Creating, distributing, or introducing viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other malicious software.
Phishing: Impersonating Conjointly, its employees, or other Users, or attempting to collect personal information from others without their consent.
Adult Content: Uploading, sharing, or distributing pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit content.
Prohibited Content
You are responsible for your use of the Services and any content you provide. The following types of content are expressly prohibited:
Illegal Contents: Any content that violates local, state, national, or international laws, regulations, or other government requirements.
Animal Welfare: Any content of animal harm or unlawful sale of animals.
Violence: Any content of coordinated harm, human exploitation, human trafficking, cyberbullying, intimidation, harassment, incitement to hatred or violence, and stalking.
Adult Content: Any pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit content.
Data Protection and Privacy Violation: Any content of unauthorized disclosure of personal data, violations of GDPR and national data protection laws.
Illegal or Harmful Speech: Any content of defamation, discrimination and hate speech.
Copyright Infringement: Any content that violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
Criminal Content: Any content of child sexual abuse material, terrorist content and recruitment, content risking public security or serious criminal offences.
Self-harm Content: Any content of promoting eating disorders, self-mutilation, and suicide.
Prohibited Product Content: Any content of prohibited, restricted, unsafe or non-compliance products.
Platform Policy Violations: Any content that violates Conjointly Terms and Conditions.
Content Moderation Mechanisms, Enforcement and Consequences
Conjointly implements proactive content moderation practices and responds to reports from Member State authorities and users. Our human moderators review potentially problematic or illegal content, making decisions based on applicable local, state, national, and international laws, as well as our Terms and Conditions and applicable policies.
Conjointly reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the use of its Services for compliance with this AUP. If Conjointly becomes aware of any violation of this AUP, it may take appropriate action, including but not limited to:
- Issuing a warning
- Suspending or terminating your access to the Services
- Reporting your activities to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
- Seeking legal remedies
We will generally alert you when we take such action and give you a reasonable opportunity to remedy any breach of these Terms. However, if we determine that your actions endanger the operation of the Services or other users, we may suspend or terminate your Account immediately without notice.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please contact Conjointly immediately via email at support@conjointly.com with the below information:
- Your Full Legal Name
- Please share the explanation of why do you consider the information in question to be illegal content
- Please share the exact electronic location of the alleged illegal content, such as the exact URL(s) and any necessary additional information or attachment
- A statement confirming the good faith belief of yourself that the information and allegations submitted are accurate and complete
Upon submitting a report, you will receive a confirmation of receipt within 2 business days and either a progress update or a final decision within 14 business days.
Complaint Handling System
To dispute a decision made, please contact us via email at info@conjointly.com and provide the following information:
- Case overview
- Explanation of why you believe the decision is incorrect
- Any additional supporting information or attachments
Upon submitting a dispute, you will receive a confirmation of receipt within 2 business days and a progress update within 14 business days.
If the dispute resolution is unsatisfactory, you may pursue out-of-court settlement or judicial redress.
Revisions
Conjointly may revise this AUP at any time without notice. By continuing to use the Services, you agree to be bound by the most current version of the AUP. Please check this page regularly to stay informed of any updates or changes.
