Sydney, 28 August 2025 - Conjointly, an all-in-one survey research platform, today announced the alpha launch of Deep probe, a new feature that automatically analyses survey data using LLM analysis or custom formulas. Deep probe addresses one of the most time-consuming challenges in market research by allowing users to simply describe what they want to learn about their respondents and receive structured outputs in minutes rather than days.

“Extracting meaningful insights from survey data, especially open-ended responses and conversations, has been one of the biggest bottlenecks in market research,” said Nik Samoylov, Founder of Conjointly. “Deep probe helps researchers save hours and days of manual work by automating tiresome bits in the analysis process, letting them focus on strategy and insights instead.”

Key capabilities of deep probe include:

  • Automated open-ended response coding: Transform unstructured text responses into structured data regardless of language or length, with options for thematic categorisation, numerical scoring, or text summarisation.
  • Individual respondent pattern analysis: Generate comprehensive summaries for each respondent by analysing all their survey answers together.
  • Conversational survey insight extraction: Transform free-flowing conversational survey transcripts into organised, measurable outputs, easily extracting specific keywords, identifying frequent topics, or grouping respondents by response themes.
  • Calculated value creation: Add new variables for segmentation and weighting schemes by categorising numerical responses, generating composite scores, or applying mathematical transformations.

Using Deep probe with LLM analysis costs USD $0.01 per response processed. It is free when used with simple formulas.

“Deep probe represents our commitment to making advanced analytical capabilities more efficient for researchers at every level,” adds Samoylov. “Deep probe makes theme-coding, categorising and summarising data easier and more efficient for all researchers, regardless of their technical background.”

Deep probe is currently available in alpha, with Conjointly actively seeking user feedback to enhance and expand the functionality based on market needs. Results can be exported in Excel format for external sharing, or used directly within Conjointly’s comprehensive online report dashboard.

Deep probe is the latest addition to Conjointly’s powerful features, alongside Insights Explorer (which lets users explore data, build charts and custom analyses in R or via LLM chats directly in their browser), conversational surveys, and video responses.
